Maitreya Buddha Training Program (MBTP) started around 2 years ago with the teachings of Gautama Buddha channelled through Dr. Newton at Life Foundation head office, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. This is the next level of Soul Coach Training Program (SCTP). After 14 classes on Buddha’s teachings, Krishna’s teachings have begun in Geetamritam series. The best part is that this wisdom is being taught in the sacred land of Navya Takshasila Aatmavidya Peetham – Quantum Life University (QLU).

We have all been very excited to have these classes at QLU because we now have an excellent reason to go to the sacred land every month. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet Dr. Newton and Dr. Lakshmi every month, receive the wisdom of Bhagavad Gita, and do some Karma Yoga serving the land.

When we do Karma Yoga, tremendous cleansing happens within us during and after the work. Participants have shared amazing experiences about the Karma Yoga at QLU. Many elderly people and youngsters shared that after working in the fields, cleaning the place, planting, removing the stones etc., they expected to feel so tired and that the body would ache. Instead, they felt more energetic after doing the work. They could go back home and attend to any other work and go out to another gathering, as fresh as if they were resting all through. Some of them have also reported that their illnesses have been healed after the Shramadaanam. These kinds of miracles can happen only when one does Nishkama Karma Yoga – Selfless Service without any expectations. We are so blessed to have so many Nishkama Karma Yogis amongst us. Deep gratitude and appreciation to all the Nishkama Karma Yogis!

In MBTP, we have all 3 Yogas covered:

  • Karma Yoga (Selfless Service)
  • Jnana Yoga (Wisdom)
  • Raja Yoga (Meditation)

Considering the best results people are reaping through all 3 Yogas, we have taken this approach as an inspiration and applied the same in the SCTP residential batches as well.

In Karma Yoga, participants are divided into 5 groups:

  • Anna Maitreyas – Cooking and serving the food
  • Vanya Maitreyas – Plantation, digging the pits for plants, removing the stones, etc.
  • Gou Maitreyas – Cleaning the cowshed, giving bath to the cows, filling drinking water for the cows, etc.
  • Swachha Maitreyas – Cleaning the dormitories where the participants stay for the night, cleaning the pyramid where they attend the classes, cleaning the dining area where they have food, etc.
  • Grama Maitreyas – Teaching meditation, empowering women, conducting de-addiction classes, etc.

Participants work during the first half of the day, led by Dr. Lakshmi compassionately helping us cleanse our karmas and connect to Mother Earth. After Karma Yoga in the morning, delicious meditative lunch is served, which is also cooked by the participants. In the afternoon, Jnana Yoga and Raja Yoga begin with Dr. Newton teaching the wisdom of Bhagavad Gita.

One common feeling amongst each and every participant in the class was that, being born in India, we all wanted to read Bhagavad Gita since childhood. Some of us have read it and some of us have heard it. However, none of us could really understand the depth of it. Each and every slokam, vakyam, and even padam (word) was explained in so much detail, that we would have probably never understood if we did not attend this class. Dr. Newton explains everything so crisp and clear; it goes straight into the hearts and touches the souls of people.

The whole experience of these two days can be summarized as being led by Mother Earth in the morning and being guided by Father Sky in the afternoon. What an amazing feeling it is!

This can also be related to the Kundalini experience. As we know, the Kundalini energy rises from Mooladhara to Sahasrara, circles back to Mooladhara and again to Sahasrara, forming a loop, completing the process. This is how we can stay grounded as well as reach to the highest stage of evolution. Without completing this process, we may be imbalanced.

  • On the first day, in the morning, we were grounded well by Dr. Lakshmi, who helped us heal and raise our energies from Mooladhara to Anahata. In the afternoon, Dr. Newton helped us progress from Anahata to Sahasrara through the highest enlightening wisdom.
  • On the second day, Dr. Lakshmi brought us back to Mother Earth helping us ground well and remove our ahankaram (which may come after having the highest self-realization experience). Then again by afternoon, Dr. Newton took us towards Sahasrara, teaching the middle path and how to stay in balance.

Deep deep deep gratitude to both the Angels on Earth, leading the entire humanity towards Enlightenment by Awakening the Wisdom Within each of us!

MBTP Class – Geetamritam Series

Rajavidya Rajaguhya Yogam - July 7th & 8th 2018

This was the 11th class in the Geetamritam series. In this class, Dr. Newton shared the wisdom from the 9th chapter of Bhagavad Gita – Rajavidya Rajaguhya Yogam. He started the class by sharing the importance of Karma Yoga, proceeded to Jnana Yoga, and ended with Raja Yoga.

In this class, Dr. Newton emphasized on the importance of words/speech and silence.

  • Astra Vidya – Using words as weapons: Astra Vidya does not exist anymore. Krishna has created a vortex and closed it to protect this Vidya from misuse. The last two people who have been taught about this Vidya are Uddhava and Maitreya.
  • Sastra Vidya – Using physical weapons: Sastra Vidya is the use of atomic bombs and similar things in the current times.

Dr. Newton emphasized that we need to master our words because Astra Vidya (word) is more powerful than Sastra Vidya (atomic bomb).

Dr. Newton said: One who wants to truly progress in spirituality needs to learn to listen, practice more silence, and speak only when needed, as much as needed. We can appreciate nature’s beautiful sounds and really listen to them only when we are in silence. In silence, we go deep within ourselves. We turn inward, into our inner world (antarmukham). Everyone needs to practice 40 days silence at least once in their lifetime. When in silence, our Ajna Chakra (Third Eye) is opened and we gain Divya Shaktulu (Divine Powers).

  • Divya Sravanamu (Divine Hearing)
  • Divya Drishti (Divine Seeing)

Another important message was to be without jealousy, following the example of these masters:

  • Atri Maharshi – One who transcended the Trigunas (Satvik, Rajasik, Tamasik)
  • Anasuya – One who does not have Asuya (Jealousy)
  • Dattatreya – One who adopted the higher wisdom

To understand the deepest secrets of spirituality, one needs to reach to the Anasuya state. Dr. Lakshmi also gave the same message at the end of the program. She said, only when we let go of jealousy and truly become selfless and rejoice in others’ joy and evolution, can we evolve further in spirituality and in life. And we all committed to ourselves that we will overcome this hurdle and thrive towards self-realization.

These were a few important messages from the masters other than the great wisdom of Bhagavad Gita that they have shared.

Deep Gratitude to the marvellous Parama Gurus of Takshasila!

Giving you an overview of our guiding vision and how it has given way to our campus.
